Surgoinsville – Treva Denise Lawson, 36, died Sunday afternoon (Sept. 15, 1996) at the residence of her parents, Roy and Jeanette Lawson, 541, White Tail Road, Church Hill (Deerfield Estates) after a brief illness.
She was born in Hawkins County and had resided there most of her life. She was a housewife and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Brian Lawson.
Surviving are her husband, Charlie Vaydak, Surgoinsville; one daughter, Jamie Vaydak, Surgoinsville; one son, Chad Vaydak, Surgoinsville; her parents, Roy and Jeanette Lawson, Church Hill; two brothers, Elvis Lawson, LeRoy Lawson, Church Hill; Maternal grandmother, Dollie Christian, Kingsport; paternal grandparents, Sturm and Illene Lawson, Mount Carmel; in-laws, Hardy and Helen Baston, Victoria, Texas, James and Kelly Vaydak, Brenham, Texas; one niece and nephew.
